Dr. Kopidakis received his undergraduate degree from the University of
Vermont, and then went on to medical school at St. Georges University
Medical College in Grenada, West Indies. He finished medical school at
the New York Medical College. He received his medical training at the
St. Vincent Medical Center in New York, New York, and in 1996, he was
board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He specializes in non-emergent
and emergent general surgery with a focus on diseases of the breast and
abdomen. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member
of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. For three years, Dr. Kopidakis
was the Chief of Surgery at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey,
as well as an instructor for the family medicine residents. For five years
at Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vermont, he was the Director of
the Breast Center. Over the years, Dr. Kopidakis has become a big fan
of the New York Giants and the New York Yankees.
Dr. Kopidakis has full hospital privileges at Lehigh Regional Medical Center
located at 1500 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres, FL, and he has a physician
practice at 1530 Lee Blvd., Suite 1100, Lehigh Acres, FL.
